Story's spark: Cecilia Moar

When Cecilia Moar decided to help out at the Central West Family Support Group in Condobolin, she could not have known the way her life was about to expand with work, love and stories. The following is an essay from this rural leader about the powers awakened in a very special group of women by words and pictures. This piece is long, but the Foundation tips you won't be able to stop reading once you start!

Norny’s book

It is important to me to record this true story of our family. In a rural area of Australia almost 80 years ago, before penicillin was available in the country, lay a little girl with a very sore leg. Her faith-filled parents and extended family prayed for a miracle. They used all the tools and skills available to them and their daughter was able to keep her leg and run freely. Norny and Bryan now have 24 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. This book is written for them so they can cherish this family story.
